I have a client that hosed their skins.  They were getting an error no matter what skin, duplicate CONTENTPANE or the like, and I managed to talk them through upgrading DNN which got them back the default skins.  But it seems they have a bunch of skins in their skin choice dropdown list that have no files associated, most named "skin".  I believe they deleted the skin files on the server through Windows Explorer rather than using DNN's delete option for skins.  Everything works, at least on the default skins, but they would like to get rid of the skins listed which don't work, both Portal and Site.  I tried a quick look through the database but nothing obvious pops up as to what records might hold this, can someone point me to a place to clean this up?  And of course, no backups...  :)

Thanks,

Jeff

Deleting the skin folder in the portals folder should take care of it.

Maybe they just deleted the files in the skin folders.

Nice catch.  I called them and talked them through it, that's exactly what they'd done.  Problem fixed, thanks.
