Why DNN assign permission based on role not roles group {I will call it role type}. What i think it should be such like that

1- Role should be consider as description of an action/actions/feature/features  like:
User can print a report with in selected result in search output  etc..
Now its up to a user how he tages these action/actions/feature/faeature in this one wording

2- Similar roles should be grouped in Role Type {Same as in DNN Role }  like Project Manager, Book Keeper
3- These Roles types should only be assigned to Users not the role as in DNN
4- Each module must expose its actionable items {features} and these actionable items are binded to particular role/roles

There is a difference between a role and a permission. A permission is more granular. Membership in a role can be used as evidence when determining whether or not a user has a given permission. However in a flexible system there may be other factors. For example, maybe some functionallity is only availble to users runnon on local hosts. Or maybe the user IP address is a factor.

That said, DNN does have a permission infrastructure (based on roles) that can be used by module developers.

The binding factor i mensioned in point 4 is permission. My idea was that it is more managable if we group the roles in role type/group and then assign them to users.
Currently i have to assign the role to each users or go to for RSVP Code.
Please do correct me and if possile show see some usefull links or class diagrams of role/permission architecture in DNN
