Hi, currently i am converting an application from dnn 2.12 to dnn 4.4.1

This application deals with  massive lists of information, so to ease the selection of different items, we built a javascript popup window that allows the user to quickly search through to the right data, click a link, and pass it back to the module.

The problem i am having, is that because of the url rewriter, the path to the popup window now has the rewritten url attached to the path automatically.  For example, if my popup is found in "desktopmodules/accounting/popups/tenantsearch.aspx"  When i use the javascript to launch the popup when the user clicks on the field, the url its looking for is now "<domain>/tabid/54/ desktopmodules/accounting/popups/tenantsearch.aspx"

Has anyone had this problem, or is their anyway to override the URL rewrite functionality without removing it entirely?

You need to change your javascript popup window to have a URL of '/desktopmod/acc/etc.aspx' instead of 'desktopmod/acc/etc.aspx' (note the first slash). That should solve it.
