 I created a module named "ReportsModule". Also, I created a custom settings page for this module.

However while updating the settings page, none of the values were updated.
On debugging I found the an error has occured on the execution of the following line :

objModule.UpdateTabModuleSetting(this.TabModuleId, "REPORTSERVERURL", this.txtServerName.Text);

"The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint \"FK_TabModuleSettings_TabModules\". The conflict occurred in database \"EVAL\", table \"dbo.TabModules\", column 'TabModuleID'.\r\nThe statement has been terminated."

Can any one help me to overcome this problem?

Im using DNN 4.4.1 & Windows Prof. 2000

Apparently the value for TabModuleId does not exist in the TabModules table.  Set a breakpoint on this line in the debugger and look to see what value is being passed.  If it is -1, then TabModuleId is not getting properly initialized.

When you created your settings page, did you inherit from DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.ModuleSettingsBase?  Is the code that you provided in an override of the UpdateSettings() method? If so, TabModuleId should be available for your use.  Or, did you create a completely custom settings page (separate from the usual module settings page) - in which case you will either have to pass TabModuleId into your update method or derive it in some other way.
