Hi,

First of all, my english may not be easy to understand so excuse me for that.

I have to use dnn for a univ project (have to finish it for the next week) and I'm a total newbie concerning dnn, module developement, and ASP.NET (or VBScript). I managed to install the dnn website and to modify the containers style (which was not that easy) to fit to my client expectations.
But now I'm facing some problems and I'm requesting your help!

Here are few questions that would help me a lot :

1) I'm using SQL Server Express and I'd like to display the content of a table. So I added a DataList (connected to a SqlDataSource) on a container.ascx file through the Design mode of Visual Studio 2005 because I want it to be shown thanks to a customised container. It displays the content of the table I'v choosen, there's no problem about that.
But what I want is to display only the 10 first results of the queries (which is sth like select * from xxx ), and I can't find any solution!
So how can I "filter" the results of my query? Are there other (easier) ways to execute queries on database?

2) My second question is about forms : I want to make a form of registration but I don't know how to deal with POST or GET datas. For example, I'm displaying the content of a table, and when I click on a result, I want to display the details of the choosen item (which means I need a form to submit datas).

3) Indeed, I need a private access on my website, for registered user, and also for an admin. Is it better to create a new registration "module"? or to use the existing one (the one that includes the admin and host mode)?

I need your advices and some answers :p.
Thanks for your help !
