I've use DNN Starter Kit to Create And Develope dnn module in DNN4, but I feel it's so hard ...The time to Open and Debug a Website or bulid dll is so long ....

I swicth to use DNN Project Template to Create dnn module in DNN3, everything is OK, The time to Open Project and build is so sort ...

I feel relaxible to use DNN Project Template...

Could U show me the way or the Program is like DNN Project template to create a MOdule in DNN4,

Thanks so much !!!

I would recommend using the WAP model. It does take a little time to get setup but once you understand it your compile times will be  for  your module only.  Packaging is also a snap using a nant script.

Using Web Application Projects (WAP)  is fine, another option is:

1) Use this set-up: Setting-up the Environment (using IIS)

2) You do not have to compile each time, simply save the page and refresh your web browser

3) If you need to compile to check for errors, select "build page" to just build the page you are working one (files in the app_code directory do require a full build)

4) To debug use Attach To Process (requires the full version of Visual Studio 2005)

I do admit that if you don't have the full version of Visual Studio 2005 you cannot use the attach to process for fast debugging. However, if you don't have the full version of Visual Studio 2005 you cannot use WAP either.
