Hi,

Currently I am using DNN 4.5.1 and Telerik RadAjaxManager in my application. Whenever we use RadAjaxManager, we are getting the following error.

     The Controls collection cannot be modified because the control contains code blocks (i.e. <% ... %>)

Telerik Support gave the solution that to add the following code snippet in Page_Load event.

     DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.RegisterScriptManager()

But we got the compilation error that Ajax class is not available.

How to add the Ajax class in existing DNN?

You have to install asp.net AJAX 1.0 from http://www.asp.net

I installed ASP.Net Ajax 1.0 and I tried to compile the code which is having the line

DotNetNuke.Framework.Ajax.RegisterScriptManager();

I am still getting the same following error:

The type or namespace name 'Ajax' does not exist in the namespace 'DotNetNuke.Framework' (are you missing an assembly reference?)

Please advise me if I'm missing something.

Thanks in advance.

I have never seen that error before :( Can you try to install DNN from scratch. If this is an upgrade perhaps your don't have the right settings in the web.config.
