I am trying to build a portable module. In the ExportModule I need to find what the PortalId of the portal is and not only the ModuleID.
I tried with PortalId, PortalSetting, PortalController, Entities..., but nothing worked. All gave me back the message "Name 'PortalId' is not declared."

Is there ANY way I can get the PortalSettings from withing ExportModule?

if you know moduleID, you can get moduleInfo, which contains portalID.

I found this piece of code:

Dim objModules As New Entities.Modules.ModuleController
Dim objModule As Entities.Modules.ModuleInfo = objModules.GetModule(ModuleID, Null.NullInteger)

Is this what you mean?

I am writing a Latest News module in VB 2005 as a deployable project.

Another question now. Is there a way I could possibly get the settings of a module in a specific page?

TIA
