Hi all,   I've attempted to search the forums and I guess the search just doesn't want to work for me, so I'll post my question...

I'm needing to write a user auditing system for a DNN (4.7) site...  Basically I need to log when a user enters a number of areas and when they leave.
I've been able to add a db entry using Page_Init for the control and/or New() for the module and that works great..  However I can not get an entry for them leaving the module...  I've tried in Finalize() of the module and Page_Unolad and Pge_Dispose with no luck.. no of them seem to run my code for inserting a record into the db..

Can someone tell me if there is a better way to keep track of everything users do in the system?  Is there a module I can buy for this? 

Are there any "unload" events I can use to capture either a page change or even the closing of the browser?

I think you can't do this effectively.

There is a javascript event for beforeunload but theat assumes that Javascript is enabled and even then you would have to work out how to call your logout script (possibly using AJAX).
