Hello,

I've installed DotNetNuke 4.08. I'v created a module and it works fine on my site, but I want to package the module in a zip file. How do I do that? I know that in previous versions of DotNetNuke their was a "create module package" option in the "module definitions" menu. Does anyone know the solution for my problem?

Regards Stijn Claessen

Thanks for your reply, but in the example the edit module menu shows this.

When I go to the "Edit Module definition" menu, I only see this.

I don't see the "Create Module Package". Why is that?

Stijn Claessen

Hi Stijn,

I' am using DNN version 4.0.7 but my guess is that it works the same in 4.0.8. You should go to your `Module Definitions page` and go to the edit screen of the module you want to package in a ZIP. On the leftbottom of the page, even under the Control Definitions, is a LinkButton which says: `Create Module Package`.

Ik hope this answers your question,

Kind regards,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply, but that did not solve the problem. It doesn't show up at the top and at the bottom. If I choose the HTML/Text Module in edit mode it apears, but if I choose my own created module it won't apear. I created the module in C# with the DotNetNuke starterkit.

Kind regards,

Stijn
