Hello,

 I am quite new to module developing, so i made a few tutorials. But in all of them you just get an editor, a view and a settings page. But what I want to link to a detail page? Eg. I have a list of news, and bei klicking the headline i get a detailed view of it. Is this just a page having nothing to do with the module, just getting a parameter? Or can this detail page be included into normal modules.

Thanks

El

Hey,
I have already done so by using 2 modules (or sometimes one module that can be displayed in List mode or in Details mode)...

What you do in your List Module is get your TabId (that is the id of the page your details module is on) and then something like this
string s = DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.NavigateURL(chosenTabId, "", "ItemID=" + articleId); and then you assign s to a hyperlink or use Response.Redirect.

Next, in your details module you catch the ItemId you sent by using Request.QueryString.Get("ItemID");

Let me know if you want me to explain in more details.
Good luck.
