i created a new module, its having only one page(ascx control).
just one textbox and one button.

i successfully created the module, created the package.
i also installed the module successfully,

BUT, when i type something in textbox and press the button; THE VALUE IN THE TEXTBOX goes out (textbox get cleared!)
the same thing happen with other controls like combobox and other input controls (combobox reset to its original state, it doesn't hold the selected value)

Hey,

Can you check that the logic in your page load method is not re-setting the value here? If you have logic to set up the values - you may want to use the Page.IsPostback property to check whether or not to execute the logic.

Take care,

Ian

check if default cache time in your module definition is set to -1. Once I had the same problem in DNN 4.6.2.

In my experience setting the cache to 0 is ideal in most situations.

Take care,

Ian
