I'm new to DNN, just started exploring. After having a look at DNN's News, Banner and announcement modules I was thinking of adding it to a static website that I recently designed. Basically I'm interested in Announcement module. Is there a way I can attach Announcement module to my existing website containing static html pages and uses CSS. Plz help me out with attaching a new Announcement page to my website and provide admin panel to manage announcements.

Thanks

no, DotNetNuke modules require the framework to run. The easiest way to display announcements in your static web site would be consuming RSS from your DNN web site, another option would be creating a DNN web site displaying the module only and integrating it using an iframe in your static site.

yes, you should use a virtual folder (physically stored outside your other installation), configured to be an application.

my requirement is forum and blog in my asp.net site. how to maintain authorisation.
for forum and blog authintication and authorisatin is necessary. any suggestion about asp.net users to use dnn forum and blog with asp.net authorisation (usernames). without asking for 2nd login or username to use dnn forum and blog.
