hay all ..

I'm tryin to add extra attributes to UserInfo Class, to be added when the user registers on my portal.

i've modified these files :

UserInfo.vb: by adding the new private members and thier properties.

ASPNetMembershipProvider.vb: by adding the new attributes in AddUser & UpdateUser methods.

DataProvider.vb: by modifying the definistion of AddUser & UpdateUser Methods.

SqlDataProvider.vb: by modifying AddUser & UpdateUser Methods.

I also modified Users Table and AddUser, UpdateUser stored procedure.

Am i missing something ?

Plz if any other files need to be modified, i'll appreciate telling me.

thanx all.

my advise would be to use the UserProfile to save the extra properties you need. It is NOT recommended to make core changes as you will loose the option to upgrade your site in the future
