Can someone point me in the proper direction. I'm trying to make my module copy another tab, with all of its modules to a new tab, and then reconfigure it's modules settings.

I'm pretty sure it's a trivial function thats built into the core since I can do it by hand via the dashboard Page Copy button, but I'm having a brain fart trying to find the librararies it uses to accomplish the task.

Thanks!

Michael

Ok, I'll kick the can down the road a bit myself...

I've found most of what I need in Admin/Tabs/ManageTabs.ascx.vb in the SaveTab Data Function.

The 2 key pieces that I was missing where the controllers TabController and Module Controller which allow for insertion and duplication of Tabs and Modules.

So I'll go ahead and load the old tab make my mods, make a copy and then Iterate through the old tabs  modules using the ModuleController.Clone method.

I'll post code back here when it's done, in case anyone is interested in it.

I think you'll want DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs.TabController and DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.ModuleController

Let me know if you have any other questions....
