Hi,

I need clarification regarding one of my requirements in DNN.

One of my module sends a request for performing certain action to one of the registerd user in the application through email. This mail consists of one 'link'.

After clicking/selecting this link, user should directly visit one secure tab. For this, I can send the 'UserID/UserName' in encrypted format within 'link'.

Is this possible in DNN?

I'm not using any external application, only a single website is there developed using DNN.

Any help would be appreciated.

YOu can pre-fill the username for the login page by passing ?username=myusername as a querystring at the end of the .aspx part of the URL.

However, out of the box there is not SSO integration process.  Passing the password via querystring would be a major security risk as well.

If you are looking for SSO module than may this link help yo. It contain SOS in DNN.

or you can customize login module. If any querystring coming with UserID and UserName than direct trigger login method from login usercontrol.

And you are not redirecting user into other domin so avoid another external module [SOS] if possible

thanks
