I want to update the module's StartDate and EndDate(module settings-->AdvancedSettings) throgh a customised form. I was able to successfully updated the database row according to the moduleID in Modules Table. but when I go to the module advancedsettings, it seems nothing's been updated. Did I missed anything?

Accepted Answer

After updating the StartDate/EndDate settings, you should call the shared method:

DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.ModuleController.SynchronizeModule(ModuleId)

to invalidate the module cache and force a reloading of the module configuration.

Sorry guys, I simply put in DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.ModuleController.SynchronizeModule(ModuleId) right after I updated the date. unfortunatly when I go to module advanced settings, It seems still cached. I have to rebuild the application and It updated itself.

did I do anything wrong here?
