Hi Experts..

I am new to DNN module development,  I have written a module which read a primary key from the query string then my module will get the object from the database and display it.  Everything works fine but I want to display the the object name in the breadcrumb.  Do I need to make changes in the actual bread crumb binddata method?   or am I doing something wrong here?

here is an example on what I am trying to accomplish.

e.g http://localhost/Mysite/default.aspx?tabid=123&Product=SomeID

the tabid=123 is tab View Product.

I want to get the following in the breadcrumb .

You are here > View Product > Product (A Product Name).

At the moment all it is showing is You are here > View Product because Product (A Product Name).) is not a phyiscal page?

Many thanks in advance.

thanks

Wilson

The breadcrumb  displays TabName ( Page Name ) ,  If u you modify breadcrumb it will effect throught out your site . Instead change ModuleTitle as Product name  where you get ProductId as queryString, which fits your requirement

To change ModuleTitle through codebehind, write the following code in youy Page event  of your module

Dim ctl As Control = DotNetNuke.Common.FindControlRecursiveDown(Me.ContainerControl, "lblTitle")
If Not ctl Is Nothing Then
CType(ctl, Label).Text = "ProductName gets from ProductID or any title"
End If
