Currently I'm making a category module (in C#) which should automatically make references to modules which are placed on parent pages (actually my own module - so it could be "auto-magically" placed on every subcategory of a Page)
I've made short version of functionality from Pages to Add/Edit Categories (which are Pages in fact)

I was looking how it's done in Pages, but I don't know how to automatize it - maybe some advice? :)
