Hi,

Does anyone have a sample of how to use the SendTokenizedBulkEmail() class? I also want to retrieve a list of recipients based on a Role.

Thanks,

Larry B.

core Newsletter module uses it, see /admin/uses/bulkmail.ascx.vb in DNN 4 and  /desktopmodules/admin/Newsletters/newsletter.ascx.vb in DNN 5 (same code).

Thanks. I was able to get it working using the code in the newsletter.ascx.vb file. However, my custom module uses a custom Role. How can I retrieve all the user's in a Module based custom role?

There are no module specific roles, only module specific permissions.

You need to pass all security roles, you would like to address, to SendTokenizedBulkmail, if you are going to provide a custom Permission for this purpose, you need to iterate yourself though associated ModulePermissions
