Thanks purplebox for reply.

But the problem now I am facing is that, I opened my PortalAlias table and it is showing me three fields:

1. PotalAliasId

2. PortalId

3. HttpAlias.

Can you tell me more specifically where I have to change the portnumber ?

One more thing is that suppose I am working with totally new solution so should I make the change before installing DotNetNuke i.e. following the steps written in 'Welcome.html' file or after I follow all those steps and successfully install DotNetNuke.

Last thing is that, I created a new application in DotNetNuke framework, followed the steps in 'Welcome.html' file and then I went back to studio, opened the property page of the root website and set the 'Use Dynamic Port' to 'false' and then again tried to run the solution but I was not able to get output. The error which I got was 'Cannot Display Page'.

Waiting for your positive response.

  1. PortalAliasID is a autonumbered primary key
  2. PortalID is the foreign key of the portal affected
  3. HTTPAlias is the address of your portal. Here you need to add your portnumber (delimited with colon like www.mydomain.com:1234)

I suggest doing a default install first and than adding this as a second alias.

Hi. Maybe you can help me... I have public Linux based web server. And cofigure ooobadm.dp.ua:8088 for redirect on another machine in local network. At the machine I have installed DNN 4.9.0. In DNN HTTPAlias is ooobadm.dp.ua:8088. This leads to the endless redirection. Can you tell me why? And how I can fix this problem?
