I added a class library project to DNN (4.3.4) solution, set reference to Dotnetnuke library. wrote code, built the project and copied the new class dll to the bin directory of the web site. While I was in the bin directory, I saw Dotnetnuke.dll and countrylistbox.dll and their related files were also updated (have the same timestamp with my new class dll).

I did not change the DNN source code, so there should be no change in the new assemblies, but I am nervous since I don't know what I did that caused the direct update to the website/bin folder.

I don't want to make the same mistake. DNN/VS2005 experts, please help!

When you add the reference to dotnetnuke.dll in your project, make sure you set Local Copy = FALSE.
