I'm sure there is a way to create profile fields programmatically

On first run of a dnn module - these fields would be added and you dont have to do it manually.

Can anyone share the code?

Thanks

Take a look at the code below... that will do it for you.

Private Sub foo()
Try
Dim oPropDefinition As New DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfilePropertyDefinitionWith oPropDefinition
.PropertyName = "Company Name"
.Required = True
.Visibility = UserVisibilityMode.AllUsers
.ViewOrder = 1
.PropertyCategory = "Company"
End With
Entities.Profile.ProfileController.AddPropertyDefinition(oPropDefinition)oPropDefinition = Nothing
Catch ex As Exception
End Try
End Sub

Antonio Chagoury

So how do I check if that  profile property already exists?

TIA
