@OldTurtle,

I decided to make it open source because of a number of reason:

1 - I use this as our e-commerce module, so I wanted as many people using it as possible to make it a realistic option for our clients.

2 - Making it open source allows feedback from all over the world with ideas and issues, which allows me to fix problems before they happen on my servers.

3 - I also get help and advice from other community members, thus pushing the project forward at a quicker rate.

4 - Software improvments I make in NB_Store I also use in other bespke software for clients, hence we can provide a better service to our clients

5 - Improve the profile of our company (Nevoweb).

6 - And of course there is my simple obsession to produce a free open source e-commerce for DNN.

However the downside is I do have a reponsiblity to my company partners to prove making it open source is the way to go, and with the hundreds of hours I've spent at work doing this project (plus the hours at home) with no funding it's somtimes difficult.  I hope however to continue in order to provide a viable e-commerce solution for DNN.

Regards,

Dave.

 Now if only we had a module that would allow us real time shipping quotes, such as from Canada Post.

Currently the only solution therein is the ever so bloated Catalook and it's idiotic requirement of .NETShip.

It would be very helpful if you have a page which lists all the cart's features and highlights the features that distingiish it from DNN Store. Trying out a demo is helpful but a listing is  more compreshensive and easier to digest. Maybe also a little roadmap informing the community on the current features being worked on.

Thanks.. Good work.
