Hi Tony,

You've picked up an old thread here:  have a look at the forge, it's got a link to the codeplex home page for NB_Store there is a bit more info there:

http://nbstore.codeplex.com

The name "NB_Store" was a working title that never really got changed....so it's just the name of the original prototype I create......however I am working on ideas to give it somekind of meaning.

Dave.

Hi There, I current;y maintain a web-site that sells antique bank notes (old money). The current site was engineered by me in perl and has a flat database which contains about 2500 notes orgainized into about 100 countries. In addition the site sells albums and books on collecting. I am very interested in you ecommerce solution. Do you think it would be suitable for my needs ? Obviously each country translates into a seperate sub-heading. Unlike maybe other sites I only require about 7 fields for each note (item). Any comments welcome Many thnaks... Henry stock number | denomination | description | pick number | condition| price | image(optional) e.g 50 Francs 1963 P.148a UNC £65 50 Francs 1972 P.148d GDVF £45 50 Francs 1976 P.148f GDVF £45 100 Francs 1964 P.149a GDVF £55 100 Francs 1971 P.149d GDVF/EF £55

I can't see why it wouldn't. You can add any number and type of additional field to the product data entry form and display. There is also a flexible import facility that you would be able to use to import your items so long as you can get a suitable CSV out of the old site.

Go to http://nbstore.codeplex.com for more information and ask further questions in the forum there.

Regards
Rob

Hi David,

thank you for the online demo for the NB_Store.
it is very useful and I finally found the services for an e-commerce website builder that I want for my business and my customers as well.

I wanted to ask if we can have a "Pay on delivery" payment method?
I want this for the my business and I am not sure how to utilize the NB_Store in sth like this.

Thanks a lot .. a fast response is highly appreciated.

Dina
