This is still a beta release and needs a lot of work still. I had gone 4 months between releases when I got real busy but expect to have more regular releases now. I even have another open source project I am working on too (portal stats). Both are wanted by three clients of mine (one of them being me ;) ) which means that I have a vested interest in getting these modules solid.

ps: I also have a new Portal Stats Module coming out you can view a demo at
http://www.yapclub.com/dnn/MODULES/SiteLogDemo/tabid/2797/Default.aspx

I plan on adding a content provider for this so you can choose to have weekly Portal Stats emailed to a mailing list of your choosing in the future

Hi Jason

This sounds great! Would you be interested in working with me to optionally integrate my UserGroups module with this module? The idea is that you could send an email to a group of users - check out the UserGroup demo if you need an example:
http://www.smart-thinker.com/ProductsandModules/UserGroups/UserGroupsDemo/tabid/694/Default.aspx

You could enable this with a system setting to turn it on and off (off by default) - I could give you all the code for my modules and it's only a few lines to integrate it (it's the same code in my Events module when I invite a group of users).

Let me know if you are interested (the same goes for any other module developer who may want to integrate with a UserGroup module)

Nice feature change request, this email module would be quiet nice with the group email features

Role Groups are coming in the next version of DNN so it could use them as well.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?

All,

please do not post replies to announcements, we want to keep this forum as a list for annoncements only, not discussions. Can you please ensure you follow guidelines for this forum, . From the forum pinned post

" please don't post again unless you've got a new version or a significant change in your offering.  These are intended to be announcements, and if they look too much like "advertisements" or fall into any of the other unacceptable areas we've identified, we do reserve the right to delete them."

Thanks,

Cathal
