I am happy to announce that I had today released the first beta of the new simple core DNN_Chat 05.00.00 module.  I moved this module from a WSP to a WAP (compiled) module for use on DNN 5.5 and above.  My focus on this versions is to become it back running for the community use.  So it want not have any Enhancements included without some developement tasks.

I still worked on a reported issue with Chrome and Safari browsers on the client side javascript, so any participations are wellcome.

Download the beta from http://dnnchat.codeplex.com

Congratulations, i just tested it and it seems to be working fine! :)) Now there are only a few minor enhancements missing (user list, private whisper, export transcript, ...) :P

Cheers from Germany,
