Hi Gilles,

I"ve added some custom skin objects to the Store Skin Objects.

Is it possible to refer to these as a Token replacement in a Text Module?

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Jay,

I do not know if it's possible! You shoukd ask in the Text/HTML forum. IMHO it's not possible, because the Text/HTML do not know than the Store module (or skin objects) exist nor how to call it's text prelacement procedure.

Gilles

After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Jay,

Finaly, I have found this post, as you can read it it's not possible. You have to create your own Text/HTML module to do that. Another option is to use this module, may be it can help?

Hey, thanks, Gilles!   I'm running into the same 2 solutions - both are reasonable, but add on some overhead when trying to roll out the store module that others manage on their own instances.. they would either have to then update the text module, or buy the 3rd party solution and configure it.

I wonder, if I customized the text/html module.. could I use the Store Module install package to drop in the updated Text/Html?  Basically upgrade the HTML/Text module with a Store Module install..I don't see why not off hand.. though it probably not good practice.

Thanks,

Jay
