Hi Gilles,

-          - Is it possible choosing more payment method together? (For example: PayPal and also email provider together and user can choose)

-          - How can I use email provider to split payment method on “cash on delivery” and “bank transfer”. (For example: we use email provider and user can choose “cash on delivery” or “bank transfer” and get other email texts) Is it possible? If no, will you plan this functionality? If no, how can we implement it?

Thanks’ for reply.

Martin

Hi Martin,

Having more than one payment method is on my looonnnggg todo list! ;-)
Concerning the email provider, only one email template can be sent. To have this kind of choice, you have to create a new gateway provider from the current email provider. The idea is to copy the DotNetNuke.Store.Cart.EmailProvider project in a new folder like COBProvider (COB=Cash Or Bank) and replace all reference like Emailxxxxx by COBxxxxx. Create two different email templates in the resources file COBPayment.ascx.resx and add control and code in the file COBPayment to manage the user choice and select a different email template.

Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I forgot to mention than you have to override the method generateOrderConfirmation() inherited from PayementControlBase to send your own email ! Simply copy and paste the current method from PayementControlBase to your COBPayment.cs file and replace the email logic.
