Hi,
Has anyone any experience of running a DNN based intranet supporting over 1000 users? I'm wondering if DNN has the performance for a busy professional business environment. In this case hardware spec. for the hosting environment would not be an issue and we'd not be relying on a cheap hosting plan.
Any thoughts ?

From the performance perspetive, I would say definetly... more or less tweaking and the right configuration should be done, but generally I would say yes... for me it's best to figure out the project plan with estimated non-functional requirements (e.g. number of concurent users) - and then with appropriate tools and techniques test various implementations and see if the tools I choose (you choose in this scenario) are good enough, how does the server perform under the desired load and how does the application perform.

So not to prolonge it... don't belive anyone who says can or can't, it depends on many things... and the only way to know for sure it to test the idea.

Thanks,
