In a previous version passwords were in users table, but apparently they are elsewhere now. I have a password change screen I'd like to have working with 3.3.7. Any info?

you are not recommended to use that, but rather have a look at the user profile controls. If you talk about a previous version that must be dnn 2.x, ever since dnn 3.x passwords are stored in the aspnet membership tables. You should only "talk" to those tables throught the membership provider

Well, I checked into the membership provider. According to Microsoft's website it says asp.net 2.0 or 3.0 is required. System.Web.Security Membership class doesn't seem to be in 1.1 but then
Microsoft.ScalableHosting.Security.SqlMembershipProvider is mentioned in web.config, so this situation is confusing.

If Membership.Provider.ChangePassword.... results in name 'Membership' is not declared. I do have a Imports System.Web.Security

I also tried this code:

bBool = objUser.ChangePassword(UserInfo, txtOldPassword.Text.Trim, txtNewPassword.Text.Trim)

UserInfo is fine but ChangePassword results in object not set to a reference

Imports Ent = DotNetNuke.Entities.Users

bBool = Ent.UserController.ChangePassword(UserInfo, txtOldPassword.Text.Trim, txtNewPassword.Text.Trim)

The above code successfully changed the password, so I have no further questions.
