You could always go to page 13 and then add the existing modules from page 12 to it, then delete 12.  What are you trying to accomplish?

In the root of the DNN site is a file called favicon.ico.  You'll need to create your own.  These guys can be finicky and are cached.  If someone has bookmarked your site already, they may not see your updated favicon unless they clear their cache and re-add the favorite/bookmark.

Thanks Shawn!

Like what i've said, I've rebuilt our company website...same address(www.keysys.com), same contents on the pages...but the tabids are no longer the same with the old one...the problem is when Google tracks pages on our site, it points it to a different page coz of different tabid..I can no longer use the old website coz our server crashed and the file is no longer available so I created a new one...what i want to do is change the tabids of the new website according to how google tracks our site before..

Is there a way to just change tabid=12 to tabid=13 without creating a new page(tabid=13) and copy the module from tabid=12 to tabid=13?

regarding the icon..i already created my own icon and copied it to the root directory..but still it doesn't show up on the address bar..can u please give me the step-by-step procedure to do it?

Thanks for responding...

The best way is to restore a backup of the original database into the new site.  Assuming you don't have that, I think you should wait for Google to recrawl your site.  Add a sitemap if you haven't already.  Update your existing one if you have one.  If you cannot wait for that you could try using some rewrite rules via the built in Url Redirection or by using a product like PageBlaster.  When Google corrects itself you could always then remove the rules.  While I'm sure you might be able to go into the database and muck around, I would not go that way.

As for favicons - here is my own reference link - http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutorials/jennifer/favicon.html .  Remove all existing favorites/bookmarks, delete your cache and temporary internet files.  Close your browser.  Open your browser.  Revisit the site.  Add a new favorite/bookmark.  Sometimes clicking and dragging i.e. "jiggling" the existing icon a bit works.

hi!

Thanks for the advice....

Maybe i will do what u've said...i dont have much choice do i? Surely i couldn't restore the old database coz it was already gone...power interruption sometimes causes unimaginable damage..I think u r right...its better to wait for Google to recrawl our site...

Thanks for the link...hope to make it work this time...

cheers
