Hi,

On some sites, a new user will register but the registration will not be active immedietly.  The site will send the user an e-mail with a link.  The user has to click on the link for the registration to be active.

Does anyone know of any modules that would give DotNetNuke the same capability.

Thanks

Built into DNN you have the "Verified" user registration option.  This would require a first time user to enter an activation code that would be e-mailed to them after registering for an account.

Does that meet your needs?

You can build the verification URL in your custom module and append to the message body e.g. username is testuser and verification code is 0-420 then the following url will populate values

http://www.mysite.com/default.aspx?ctl=Login&username=testuser&verificationcode=0-420
