Hi Everyone,

i have following problem. I have an existing Wesite wich is built in frames. These Website wasn´t create with DNN. Now i want to add a new section to the website built with DNN.
I have registered a new subdomain (download.mydomain.com) and set these to the mainframe source like:

It will show on the main frame, but thats all. I can click on "Logon" and get the login module, but after entering username and password, i will be redirectet to the first site without beeing logged in. If i opend the subdomain directly, everything works fine.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thx

Daniel

Browsers tend to not like sites loading in frames that are on different domains that don't have a privacy policy

You might try running DNN in a virtual directory instead, off the domain of the website, and try using the frame to load that new URL instead.

Hi Cooper83,

perhaps a bit TOO late for an answer, but I had the same problem recently, so I searched in these forums, found your question and another thread which solves our common problem: you have to allow third party cookies in your IE.  See this thread.
