Any word on:

1.) When will the documentation be available

2.) Will it be updated for 4.5.1

Seems like there is a lot of new stuff that isn't covered in the current documentation...

Sorry - I can't help but laugh at that one Sebastian..

Don't you remember those core team chats.. where I offered and offered, created and started documentation... 2 Years of trying and I believe it was consistently knocked back by the board members (who weren't board at the time) ...saying they only wanted developers who know what they are talking about, not people like myself.

It was just funny to read about that one, so I'm just refreshing your memory, because it's a bit hard to cry poor when there are people who offer to help.

Perhaps... it might be easier if you were to specify the exact type of help required, so that anyone who feels they may meet the criteria can in fact contribute to help things move ahead quicker.

Cheers

Nice one. I'd offer to help, absolutely... if I knew about the features! Only the people who put it together and have tested it can really help. I believe this whole idea of community-based software development, the WIKI of portal applications, is great but there seems to be a lack of people who CAN contribute or that are ALLOWED to contribute. I guess that's why we have forums now!

I specifically would like to know about the new AJAX features. I also want to know exactly what features were added without having to weed through the forums blindly. As we all know the search feature leaves much to be desired and can be quite time consuming. Has SLL management been added yet? Are there any new performance enhancements? Lots of questions...
