I get this error message:

Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.

DNN version is DNN 3.3.7, SO is W2003 and SqlServer 2005 Express edition.

Can anyone help me?

What does I have to check to find where the origin of the problem is?

It does not seem to be a problem due to an non-core module.

Thanks,

Francesco

I had a similar problem with my 4.4.x install. Even tho the exception said it was comming from purgelogs the offending module was actually the Articles module from EffiiconConsulting. Not sure what was wrong with it, but other seem to have had the same problem.

If you dont use that module, then I do not know. I'd suggest you run SQL profiling on it and check which sprocs get called.
