I want a login capability like /login.aspx but no login button on any forms, is this possible?

Cheers

Sure.  Create a Friendly Url rule that looks like this:

<LookFor>.*/Login.aspx</LookFor>
<SendTo>~/?ctl=Login</SendTo>

Friendly Url rules goe in the SiteUrls.config file at the root of your website.  You can use the UI under Host > Host Settings to edit it also.

If you want to just use /login then you can do that by creating a folder called login in the root of your website, and place a file in it called default.aspx.

The default.aspx file in the login folder can be completely empty.
