I have a website with a prominent flash movie on the home page. When the Solpartmenu dropdown is activated the movie disappears when using the Safari browser. All other browsers tested appear to have no problems. Initially the dropdowns where appearing behind the movie but when the transparent attribute was added this was fixed.

Thanks for your help,

Jason

I have this issue myself, but only when using the Media module to display it. Until someone comes up with a better solution, you could do this:

1.) Copy your skin file.
2.) Edit the copy, and insert the flash element where you want it - physically locking it with the new skin file
3.) Use the new alternate skinfile for the page where you want the flash element

I realize this is a very unflexible solution, but it works better that the core media module.

Jasper,

Tried this fix, but the problem continues. As soon as the solpartmenu dropdown is activated the homepage main flash movie just disappears. So far the client hasn't noticed it, but I'm sure this will not always be so.
