I have a DNN 4.5.0 site that has been running for a few weeks, but today it stopped working, I get the following error and can't get to any site content.

The+WebResource.axd+handler+must+be+registered+in+the+configuration+to+process+this+request.

No changes have been made to the site?  What could my hosting provider have changed that would cause this?

Mitchel

I ha the same problem yesterday. It was the first time in years that my site went down. The site is DNN 4.5.1. I will try to investigate more. Do you have another kind of info??... windows related log errors?(Eventlog)

Can you share your environment information with me to see what is similar there? (Win2K3.... ajax installed...etc)

I really don't want another similar situation so I will investigate this deeper.

Locopon,

This is the same as with my site, it hasn't gone down before and now twice in a week it went down with this same error message.

I am on a shared hosting environment so I am not 100% sure about the details of the setup, I believe it is win2K3.  I am using AJAX and I have the dll's included in my bin directory, and I beleive that my host also have it installed and available via the GAC.

The error I received was a DNN custom error, I assume it was captured before it actually bubbled up to the ASP.NET application log but I am not sure

I did look at my event log in a bit more detail and the only thing I know is that it happened just after the application was restarted....
