Is there an easy way to set certain menu items to open in a new windown instead ofthe current one?  We have some menu items that go to external sites and would like them to open a new window.

Is there any easy way to do it or some third party module that allows it?

I haven 't tried this but I think you can use the advance option to open an external url.  In this put alittle javascript to open a new window.

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

Get it from CNET Download.com!

That is what I actually ended up doing and it works:

window.open('http://www.myurl.com')

I tried this and while it does open a new browser window to the correct URL, it leaves the DNN site with a mostly "blank" window with the word

    [object]

displayed.

What am I doing wrong?

OK, I figured it out.  If I use

    j a v a s c r i p t:void(window.open('http://www. ExternalSite.com'));

It works correctly.
