I just found a cool feature about how to move a module.

I need to use pop menu and select "move to leftpane", "move to rightpane", "move to content pane" to move the module position.

But today I found a new method to move a module. When you select whole header of the module. The whole module will become a float block. Then you just need to use your mouse to decide where the module should go.

It's cool....But my question is "It really hard for a user to find this kind of module moving method."

Why? Seems core team want to keep some secrets about this feature??

Hi,

I think this feature has been around for about 1.5 years now - think it was introduced in DNN 3.x

I personally don't use it because in FF it jumps around and never ends up where I want it...

I have seen this feature in Google bloger and WebGUI before. But it's first I saw this in Dotnetnuke and it really hard to find it. But I found it seems have some bug there. I moved the module into another module sometimes so the the html editor can't recoginze the content and cauaes some problem.

It was actually the first reference application of the client API that was introduced in 2.0. If you take a look at the documentation page (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/About/Documentation/ProjectDocuments/tabid/478/Default.aspx), you'll see a doc called client api drag and drop that gives full details.
