I am reviewing various third party controls - with the goal of purchasing a set for both DNN and ASP.net development.

The two that I see the most "press" about are ComponentArt and Telerik.  I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on which one to purchase.

I have noticed that some of the more popular DNN modules seem to use ComponentArt, but not sure why.

Thanks

AFAIK the Telerik tools for DNN are fairly new.  I have not used Telerik on DNN but I have used them for regular ASP.NET development.

I personally find the tools to be pretty helpful however they do have their own "Quirks", but from my experiences they are some of the best items out there!

I saw that Telerik had  "DNN" versions - but I was initially drawn to the ComponentArt tools because I noticed that both XMOD and Speerio were uses the components in their tools.

I also see that Telerik's cost is somewhat lower than ComponentArt.

Looking for others that have incorporated 3rd Party tools into their modules for any good/bad experiences.

Thanks
