Help! I just got done setting up a new website internally for our new and improved company website. I was doing some changes to our internal network, and I had to change our internal network IP address scheme (due to connectivity issues with some external VPNs), so now that I am on a new IP address on my web server (which also houses my SQL 2005 database), my new website doesn't work any more! It takes forever to come up before failing. I changed the IP address settings in my web.config file, but it still will not load. Where else do I need to look to fix this? I have other issues with 2 other ASP.Net websites (not DNN - but MS CRM and another app) not coming up either. I may need to re-install those apps, but was wondering how to fix my DNN site without having to re-do the website again. It took me a long time to get it done, and I don't want to do that again!

Well, I ended up re-doing the site from scratch. I was able to get the old site running by adding the old IP address in the NIC config and pointing a website instance to it and the old directory. I was able to copy and paste the HTML source and pages from the old site to the new site manually, but there was something still referencing the old IP address even after changing the web.config file.

Since I really don't need immediate help with this, it's not imperative that I get an answer now, but it would be good to know for future reference.

I will definitely be purchasing the utility I saw that backs up a DotNetNuke site so it can be transferred. That would have saved a lot of work.
