Are there any Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) modules available for the DotNetNuke? We have looked at http://www.freecrm.com/ however it has more than what we really need. We need basic sales contact management, lead and sales tracking and sales followup scheduling.

I have been looking for the same thing for some time now. The Active CRM product is ok but it is a seperate system - not a DNN module. I have narrowed my choices down to building my own system inside of DNN using Xmod, Module Builder, ListX or something similar.

OR

Using a seperate system with an auto login IFrame inside of DNN. If I go the seperate system route I will use Vtiger (www.vtiger.com) which is an open source (free) CRM system that is an upgrade on the SugerCRM open-source product. It is a full featured product and version 5.3 will be coming out any day now which will make the product VERY stable. You can also turn off any of the features you don't need. There are some features I use in Act! that Vtiger doesn't have (such as attempted/completed call logging) so I will probably end up using Vtiger for the short term and building my own for the long term.

Hope this helps.

Greg

Hello Jens,

Thanks for the lead on Active Modules. This looks like more than what we really need at this point. I was looking for something that would drop into DNN.

Best Regards,

Tony

Hello Leazon,

I looked at Xmod and Module Builder and they look like heavy hitting database interfaces for building DNN modules. I have a future project that will require me or someone to build a DNN Module. These products look like they would help with this process.

I was hoping that there was a drop in DNN Module that would provide enough CRM features to get us going.

I looked at www.vtiger.com and found it a little overwhelming. This looks like the most comprehensive Open Source CRM solution I have seen, WOW. Do you know how hard it is to setup Vtiger? Would this run on the same machine as a DNN installation?

If you build a CRM, please let me know so I can review it.

Thanks

Tony
