Who has the record for the largest number of activly used portals on a single install of DotNetNuke? This could be on a single server, or mulipile application servers. But has to be using a single database. The database could be a cluster, but a single database none-the-less.

Do you know the details? Only one application server? It would seem that he could throw more hardware at it and get better performance. And if he had 8, 000 sites it would seem to be cost effective to do so.

I'm not necessarly looking for the max, but who has the most activly used portals on a single install. It seems a vast majority of people out there probably don't use it for much more than 5 sites. And talking to DNN hosting sites they recommend managing much more than 20. The more portals you have the more there is to manage. I want to try to find the person or organization that holds the top spot.

Since I don't put much faith in the 8,000 remark, I am going to say the most someone has done is 30. Who can beat that?
