Greetings - I am new to DNN and I'm reading everything I can on this site and others trying to learn what's available.

I've heard about the built-in file management module in DNN but read that it is for administrators only.

I need a file management tool for regular users to be able to upload/download/etc (basic windows explorer stuff) from my server. I do not currently host sites using DNN but I'm looking to move that way. For today though, I just need file management. Hopefully in the future my users can manage their own sites using DNN (which is the reason I'm not just looking for some php file manager, I intend to migrate to full use of DNN).

I hope this makes sense - and hope I have not overlooked some obvious bits of information here.

Kind Regards,

David

Thank you for the reply.  But I'm not looking for "document" management, with all the complexity of groupware/document sharing.  I need a SIMPLE file management app - there's a hundred out there in php, I'm a bit surprised there is not -1- for DNN (at least I have yet to fine one, and considering the replies I haven't gotten here I have to think I'm not missing anything!).

I just helped someone install the speerio file manager pro module on their DNN site.  IT is a VERY slick module, but it is a tad expensive, but a great addition!
