Hello,

Is there a temporary directory associated with DNN that is purged by a DNN service according to some time interval?

Thanks,

Miki

No, there isn't a temporary directory that can have just any file purged automatically on an interval.

What specifically are you trying to do?  Maybe I can suggest something that would help.

Hello,

Thanks for the response.

I am allowing users to upload temporary files, which I would like to delete once the file is 1 day old.

Thanks again,

Miki

You might want to put a simple check in the upload routine that scans the folder for any old files and deletes them after each upload is complete.

I personally use John's method for my temporary file setups on various websites.  it works quite well and doesn't add that much time to a request either.
