youngr - I'm having the exact same problem you are. Have you found any solution?

I'm having a similar issue - when I drop a module on a page, in edit mode, the container renders, but not the content itself. I've determined that it's a database problem somewhere, but don't know exactly what... My instance has also had several other weird issues that appear to be related to caching, but I'm not certain it's not a database issue there either.

Greg,

For now the problem went away. We simply came back to this "problem page" the next day and it worked normally.  Not knowing what resolved it bothers us quite a bit....some buffer getting written out or the database updated/sync'd? We'd like a way to clear this situation as an admin.  At least when this happens the page the visitor sees seems to be OK.  This kind of erratic behaviour in editing pages will freak out our content editing folks. It's tough to tell a user to try back in a couple of hours or maybe tomorrow and it might be OK.  Here they will have made a mistake and will need to fix the page quickly. We're running with a new Dell. It's unlikely it's a hardware problem.

Thanks, Roger

Did you check edit radio button on the host/admin portal?  It will be on the upper left side.
