Hello DNNers,

While attempting to create an integrated login/forgot password page, I realized that the form tag is placed just after the <body> tag, and right before the </body> tag. This limits each page to only one form.

I have no idea if it's like this out of necessity or if it's an oversight.

What would be nice is a form tag that only wraps around the module it applies to, for example the login module. That way you could have a form that pointed to login, and another form on the same page that pointed to the password reminder. It's not valid HTML to nest forms, so that's out of the question.

Any solutions or ideas? Is this something that the core team needs to address or am I overlooking something myself? Thanks for any input.

In ASP.Net you only get one form per page.  That is by design of the framework and it's post-back capabilities.

You may also want to work-around this by using an IFRAME module that points to a normal html page with your form on it.
