Hi All,

Is anyone have any idea of a good module which does a test case management? Basically, I want my user has the ability to upload a document and only people in his group can see it and can download it back. I saw this pretty similar like repository module, but repository will allow all user to see it instead of only people in the same group.

Thanks in advance.

You could do it with the documents module by giving each group a specific role and permissions to a specific folder for theri files.  The documents module checks user permissions before displaying links to the documents

Is that required some custom on the module or it is the built-in feature? Because I don't see the capability to setup each folder to specific role. Is there any documentation about this which I can follow?

Thanks in advance.

I am not aware of documentation that outlines it specifically.  But I can give you a qucik rundown.

1.  Setup folders for each role in your file manager., then set permissions to grant users upload access to the folder

2.  Have the users of each group upload their files to their groups folder.

Since the users in 1 group will not have the other groups permission set they will not see the other files!

Ronny,

It might be a little overkill, but you could use SigmaPro for this.  Create a project for each group, set it to hidden and then add roles/people to the team assigned to the project.  At that point, when people log-in they will see the projects you gave them access to and then they can upload/download documents as well as adding comments, showing the status, etc.
